Donate: “The mission of the United Way of South Central Oklahoma is to improve lives and enhance the community by mobilizing the caring power of the people of Southern Oklahoma”. Our COVID-19 Response Fund was established to ensure the basic needs of the individuals and families in our community are met. Donated dollars will be distributed in micro-grants of up to $500 until all funds have been disbursed. All dollars will be disbursed to nonprofits in our five-county service area (Johnston, Carter, Love, Marshall, and Murray) who are providing direct services to those most in need.

Nonprofits Seeking Help: We are working hard to ensure all nonprofit organizations who are directly providing relief services receive the funding they need. Applications will be reviewed on a regular basis in order of received. Funds will be distributed as funds are available on a first come, first serve basis.

All organizations receiving grant funds will be required to account for their expenditures and report on the impact of the services funded. Deadlines for reporting will be provided along with each approval notification.

To complete the application process, please email sydni@uwsco.org in order to receive the application. The following information will be requested on the application:

  • Complete contact information for your organization, including phone numbers and a valid email address
  • Information regarding plans to support relief and recovery
  • Estimated cost of current and planned efforts
  • How success of your efforts will be measured
  • Estimated time to complete the proposed work
  • Required organizational documentation

Grants will be awarded until funding is expended.
