Corporate Involvement

The ICU Program is an awareness campaign made especially for the workplace, designed to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and foster a workplace culture that supports emotional health. Developed by DuPont’s Employee Assistance Program, the ICU Program was delivered to each of their 70,000 employees worldwide. DuPont has since donated ICU to the Center for Workplace Mental Health, who now makes it available to employers across all sectors, industries, and sizes, cost-free.

To find out more information on how you can implement the ICU program in your organization, visit https://www.workplacementalhealth.org/employer-resources/training-and-turnkey-programs/icu

About 2-1-1

As United Ways across Oklahoma mobilize their communities to meet local challenges, they also work to connect Oklahomans to local resources through 2-1-1, a statewide network of help lines providing information and referral to local social services.

2-1-1 is a free and confidential service that connects people across the state with the services they need. 2-1-1 is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whether by phone or internet, 2-1-1 connects people to a variety of state agencies and community groups, whose services include basic human needs, physical and mental health care, employment support, as well as support for older Americans, people with disabilities, and children and families. 2-1-1 also provides information about volunteer opportunities and donations. It simplifies what can be a confusing search, and provides help both in a crisis and with everyday needs so that a crisis can be avoided.

SingleCare

The SingleCare Community Service Partnership is working with United Ways across the nation to help more than 5 million people nationwide get medicine they otherwise wouldn't have been able to afford.

SingleCare negotiates with the pharmacies to get discounts similar to what they give large groups like insurance companies and employers. SingleCare passes through 100% of these negotiated discounts to the people using the card to purchase their medicine. Distributed through United Ways, the SingleCare card lowers the cost of prescriptions by an average of 45% or more for people without insurance or who take medications not covered by their plan.

Because United Way works to ensure that their communities are aware of this free opportunity with little-to-no eligibility criteria, people in more than 1,000 communities now have access to a free prescription drug savings cards. The SingleCare card applies to all FDA approved prescription medication and has unlimited use at over 60,000 pharmacies nationwide, enabling families and individuals to cut their health care costs.
