ARDMORE, OK — The United Way of South Central Oklahoma (UWSCO) has announced the successful conclusion of its 2025 fundraising campaign, raising a total of $1,565,432 and exceeding its $1.3 million goal.

The campaign result reflects strong support from local businesses, employees, and individual donors across Carter, Johnston, Love, Marshall, and Murray counties. The funds raised will directly support UWSCO’s network of 36 partner agencies and 54 programs, helping meet critical needs across the region.

“This campaign shows what happens when a community comes together with purpose,” said Bryce Chitwood, Executive Director of UWSCO. “We set an ambitious goal, and this community responded in a big way. Every dollar raised represents lives impacted right here at home.”

Funds from the campaign will be invested in programs aligned with UWSCO’s core impact areas: Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency. These investments help provide access to food, healthcare, education, financial stability, and crisis support for thousands of local residents.

The campaign was powered by strong workplace giving efforts, corporate partnerships, and community events, including the organization’s largest annual fundraiser, the BBQ Showdown.

“This success belongs to our entire community,” said Chris Sandvick, Campaign Drive Chair. “From our corporate partners to individual donors and volunteers, this result shows what’s possible when we all pull in the same direction.”

As UWSCO looks ahead, the organization remains focused on mobilizing resources and partnerships to continue strengthening communities across southern Oklahoma.
